Attractions
A Christmas Tabernacle will have multiple attractions to partake in to celebrate the Christmas season. These attractions will be available every day of the festival in addition to our daily entertainment.
A Living Nativity
A living performance of the birth of Christ and the nativity scene. Performed by live actors representing Mary, Joseph, the Baby Jesus, the Three Wiseman, and even live animals. Live actors, elaborate displays and costumes make this a great way to remember the true reason for the season. Will be performed multiple times throughout the day.

Need to get some gifts crossed off your list? This is the place… Our shopping vendors are all San Diego companies from throughout the county. You will find unique items such as toys, games, art, jewelry, glass, ceramics, household items, crafts, and so much more…

Holiday Foods & Sweets
Our food court vendors will have entrée items such as crepes, BBQ chicken and pork, Tri-Tip sandwiches, Pizza, Sushi, Cajun Dishes, Tamales, and more… Plus, find specialty vendors selling treats like kettle korn, funnel cakes, caramel apples, gingerbread cookies, and coffee/hot chocolate.

Santa’s Village:
Our Santa’s Village will make you feel like you’ve been transported straight to the North Pole.
- Visits with Santa Claus (Photo Opportunities)

- Snow Hill with toboggan style runs
- Snow play area (for toddlers & young kids)
Fun Zone:
The Fun Zone is a great place for the kids to get interactive and use up some energy.

Themed Christmas Tree Forest
Take a walk through the Christmas tree forest with over 50 uniquely themed & decorated live Christmas trees. Each tree with be completely unique and has been decorated by local people and companies from around San Diego. A few trees you’ll discover include themes by Sealife Aquarium, San Diego Symphony, Rubio’s, NBC San Diego, Ace Hardware, and many more… See the other themed trees here!
The “Workshop”
The workshop is a magical place where you get to be the “elf” for the day. Demonstrations such as chocolate making, wreath making, and ornament making will be on display. Arts & crafts will be a big activity in the workshop. Make a craft, a toy, an ornament, or maybe a wreath. Take these treasures home or donate them to charity. Booths will be onsite for Toys for Tots, Rady Children’s Hospital, USO, and the Salvation Army, all collecting items for those less fortunate.
Christmas Concerts & Plays
Across two stages, constant entertainment will be on display including Christmas concerts, Christmas themed plays like “It’s a Wonderful Life” and “The Nutcracker”, School & Church Choirs/Bands, Dance Troops, and so much more.

Cookie Decorating Station
A Christmas favorite… decorating Gingerbread men and various shaped Sugar Cookies. At the Cookie Decorating station, you’ll purchase your cookie set and head to the decorating area where you’ll find all the frostings, red hots, and gummies you’ll need to make that perfect Christmas cookie.
Horse ‘N Carriage Rides
Each day horse ‘n carriage rides will depart from our main entrance taking riders throughout short tours of Liberty Station.
Grounds Entertainment
Every day of the festival you will find various entertainment walking the grounds of the tabernacle. These include: Strolling musicians, Balloon Twisting, Caricatures, Handimals art creations, Namescapes art creations, and other unique entertainment.
